Falar sobre bandas favoritas é sempre uma alegria. Eu ficaria aqui a semana inteira sem stress falando sobre o que eu gosto, não gosto, e comentando coisas aleatórias. Mas quando eu preciso falar sobre o Within Temptation, é um negócio bem específico. Não só a banda é excelente, mas uma das minhas favoritas. Eles sempre lançaram algo que no momento da vida que eu mais preciso ouvir, então imagine um álbum inteiro? Dessa história saiu a fantástica Murder.

O melhor álbum

Em 2011 o Within lançou o The Unforgiving. Eu gosto muito do Resist, e até o Hydra não é tão ruim quanto muita gente diz. Os álbuns pré-Unforgiving também são ótimos. Mas o "TU" continua sendo, pra mim, o melhor álbum que a banda já criou.

Se você não conhece, nós temos uma lista de motivos para ouvir o álbum. Recomendo. Eu não dou dica musical ruim, mas essa é, definitivamente, uma das melhores. Quem gosta de rock e metal e boa música, precisa ouvir esse álbum.

O The Unforgiving é parecido com o Ceremonials por ter sido um álbum que me fez conhecer pessoas legais na internet. Mas ele foi além por oferecer uma experiência que vai além da música: ela é criativa, cinematográfica, e aconteceu justamente durante a minha faculdade. De comunicação social. E eu adoro escrever. Nesse momento o carinho pela banda aumentou ainda mais.

E o nosso Play?

Eu já falei tantas vezes como a Sharon é excelente por ter um jeito bonito de cantar que você não sabe explicar direito. É mágico. Mas eu gosto ainda mais quando ela entra no modo hoje eu vou levar a sua alma. Tem uma energia mais intensa. É divertido ver a diferença entre Murder e Lost, por exemplo.

Na narrativa do álbum, ela é um dos pontos altos: se a banda colocasse a música um pouco antes ou depois na tracklist, não teria o mesmo impacto.

Sem falar que eu gosto muito das orquestrações: elas puxam uma coisa meio personagem-que-vai-se-vingar, uma coisa meio Vingança a Sangue Frio do Liam Neeson. Enfim, é uma baita música.
