Monday Metal: Kansas - Relentless

Quem assume o Monday Metal da semana é a Pessoa que Vos Fala, mas manteremos o tema, e vamos continuar dando o pontapé inicial da semana ao som de clássicos, afinal, Guardiões da Galáxia Vol. 2 provou que os clássicos ainda vivem, e convenhamos... Eles são bons mesmo.

Na semana passada tivemos Def Leppard, e hoje vamos de Kansas. Sim, é outro daqueles Monday Metal com um motivo filosófico, mas contando a história resumida: como eu odiava (e odeio) as pessoas achando que o Kansas se resume a Dust in the Wind e Carry On Wayward Son, um dia eu tomei as dores e fui explorar a discografia da banda... Acaba que obviamente o que eu disse acima é a maior mentira do mundo, pois o Kansas tem muita música boa.

Uma das que eu mais gosto é essa, Relentless. Ela foi lançada junto com o álbum Audio-Visions em 1980, o meu favorito da banda, seguido nem tão de longe pelo Point of Know Return. O Audio-Visions tem uma mescla muito gostosa de melodias empolgantes com momentos mais cadenciados, feito outra favorita minha, Hold On.
