O Angra surgiu no inicio da década de 1990, e, por volta de 1993 veio o clássico álbum Angels Cry. Pode-se dizer ser uma perfeição par ao gênero, e, possuindo Carry On no repertório, torna ainda mais épica a coisa. A idade média da banda era de 19/20 anos. Isso é bastante para ficar pasmo com as ideias criadas nas músicas.
Carry On fala sobre seguir em frente, soltarmos o passado que nos prende e sempre seguir para prosseguir e explorarmos os segredos que nossa mente pode ter para nos fortalecer, e assim, crescermos em momentos chaves, mudarmos as perspectivas e alcançarmos nossos objetivos. Todos juntos no refrão...
